Well, well, well. McMillan's jabbing already. Does he feel threatened, I wonder?
As for the 8 days that have lapsed since my seminal blog, my excuse is simple: I've got bloody pneumonia. Now, bear with me, because this one's a bit tricky. Natalie, sister of Melissa, discovered she had strep throat while she was staying with us. Melissa and I have spent the last week in miserable feverish states, though there were some subtle differences in our symptoms. Anyway, after much moaning and wailing and praying for death (most of which, I must confess, came from me) we are on the road to recovery. But here's the tricky bit. Neither of us have strep throat. I have pneumonia and poor, poor Melissa, apparently, has mono. Yes, the mono that people used to catch in college and then drop out to recover and end up never heard from again. And apparently mono has an incubation period of, like, 6 weeks. Which means that Natalie, sister of Melissa, could not have given it to us.
I'm reluctant to let her off the hook so easily.
