Man, if it weren't for the Don Henley fans, would anyone be looking at my blog? No shit, the most common search that brings people to my sight is a quest to find the lyrics to Boys of Summer. And not just any lyrics but the deadhead sticker on a cadillac refrain. What is that about? Is it that people have that lyric in their heads and search it to figure out what the fuck song it's from? And how is that my blog is so high up on the list? Number one on the above yahoo search. Number three on this Google UK search. (Do the English even know what a deadhead and/or a Cadillac is?)
There are other more pressing questions at this moment in history of course -- chief among them, why Nick has got it into his head to nickname me (little pun there) Peanut. Is he mad coz his nickname is "Fucker"? Dude, how many times do I have to tell you, I did not dub thee that. A certain female person who went to college with you gave you that sobriquet, I believe. (You can look that word up here, Nicky.)
As for the, ahem, gambling problem. Okay, so I've been to the cardhouses every night since my return, fair enough - won $306 the first night, $60 the second, $10 the third. Even I can see the pattern developing here so I'm laying off tonight.
