Yesterday I got so old I felt like I could die ... no, wait, that's Robert Smith. Yesterday I just felt like shit. Woke up on the wrong side of the bed and was stuck on that side most of the day. Riding the bike to work in a light rain, I had to hit the brakes hard zooming down a hill to avoid a cat and nearly wiped out. Then a car insisted on passing me with about an inch to spare. I was so worked up already that I tried to catch up at the stop sign with every intention of using my kryptonite lock to smash in the windshield. At work things didn't get any better, me sitting in my office stewing and fuming and getting nothing done. Finally, around 3, the bad feelings started to seep away and by the time I got home I was my old glorious, effervescent self.

Oh, Leni, in case you're reading this: Remember at New Year's we had that Sopranos vs. Buffy argument? Well, we've been watching the first two seasons of Buffy (courtesy of the Seattle Public Library - thanks heavens for libraries or how could we ever catch up on TV?) and, while IMHO it'll never replace Sopranos in the TV pantheon, it is a helluva lotta fun to watch. Last night we actually watched it as it was being broadcast since it was the final ever episode. Man, did they get old.
