The Thing That

Damn, I think I shot my blogger load on Capgas and Quitters, but since Painkillah gave me shit last night for not blogging more regularly I feel somewhat obliged. I'm tired after staying out late and getting drunk at the Interpol show, but damn we had a good time. Watching a full-on ROCK SHOW in a crowded theatre, a band with a sound out of the early 80s, made me feel simultaneously old and young -- old coz it was an all-ages show and there were plenty of whippersnappers there, young because I kinda felt like I was 18 yrs old, watching this band in 1986. That's all I have to say. Hope yer happy, PK.

God knows why you'd want to comment on my blog, but just in case you do I've added the appropriate link. Can't seem to make it say anything other than "Shout Out" though -- feel free to tell me how to change this. [Ignore that, I sussed it.] I guess if I'm gonna give y'all the chance to make comments I should say controversial things that are worthwhile to respond to. I'll have to think about that. The only thing possibly controversial that comes to mind is "I'm hot for Kathy Lee Gifford in a non-ironic way" but this confession may not cut it.

Oh, btw, apparently it was Melle Mel's idea to put Gary Numan CDs on hold at the library, so now the world knows. I've been thinking about putting Are "Friends" Electric? on a mixed CD for ages but Jimmy beat me to it with his vinyl mix -- good one, McBastard. Hey Jimmy, how's the pics coming?
