hey can you post on your blog that neither the Glob & Wail nor the Burning Log are available until tomorrow? That would be great.

Fighting a cold. So what else is new?
But thanks to NEA for uncovering http://www.billysquier.com/.
Immediate highlights:
1985: spends two months in Asia... first helicopter ascent of Mount Everest...
(is that where it all started to go wrong?)
1998: Squier's "Big Beat" (from "Tale of the Tape") is most sampled song in hip-hop history
(huh???)
Which reminds me: did anyone else catch the loving tribute to Journey in Sunday's New York Times? What the fuck is going on at that once-proud paper??

Falling asleep with a belly full of fish and chips led to vibrant dreams last night. The only one that lingers in the memory had me telling Melle Mel about an idea for a film. Called "Gun Day," it would be a short feature set in a town where one day a year everyone carried a gun around in plain view. This led to some tragic events. I don't remember much else but in the dream I knew without any doubt that "Gun Day" was sure to be a smash hit at festivals around the world.
