The Thing That

Got some good pranking in today. Before biking into work I left a voicemail for a coworker saying I was in the emergency room after being hit by a car. Mean I guess but I didn't string it out too long before saying April Fool. Then, when I got here, I went in to see my boss with a grave expression on my face and told her I' d been offered another job that started on Monday and that I was sorry but I'd be leaving immediately. She totally bought it and man was she relieved when I came clean. Then I went round to all the photocopiers I could find and loaded them with paper emblazoned with April Fool. When one of my colleagues called me a couple hours later to warn me that someone had sabotaged the copiers I couldn't help but confess. Ah, the joys of April Fool's Day when you work in an office.

Wow. It looks like we're moving to Ohio. And I'm actually excited about the prospect. Whodathunkit?
