I can safely say that I've survived the semester with a newborn (still have a stack of finals to grade, as well as odds and ends to deal with, but the hardest is behind me). Lots to comment on the delicate work/life juggling act, but in my bleary-eyed state that's about all the rumination I have in me. Now it's time to ready ourselves for a 3-week west coast tour!
