Like everywhere else, New Hampshire has had record snowfalls this winter. The whole landscape is transformed -- driving around it's sometimes difficult to recognize familiar turn-offs because of the snow banks and plowed mazes. For we west-coast types this of course means lots of anxiety around roof-raking, ceiling-leakage, driving on ice, shoveling, and so on. But it's been beautiful, that's for sure. Here are some snapshots.
See how high the snow is, looking outside the window?

And see how high it is here, on the deck? (that's a handrail you see, with snow just inches below).

Here's another part of the deck, with snow nearly covering the grill.

And here's MSG raking the roof (what a hero -- he's really learning to be butch, living out here in the wilds).

Whew. And we're preparing for more snowfall this weekend.
