Evan Parker, Paul Lytton, and Alexander von Schlippenbach, as much as any other three players alive, ARE British and European improvised music of the last 35 years. This once-in-a-lifetime Seattle presentation will include a late-afternoon workshop with the artists that is open to musicians and fans alike.

Well, I got through my first big bad grad school exam yesterday afternoon in Tests and Measurements and made my way out to the station for a
Fantastic night of the funk-jazz-hippity-hoppity-fusion of the Mackrosoft Brothers, Aja West and Cheeba. They brought their new albums (see below), and we aired most of it with several interrupting blasts of raw aether (work on the transmitter). The albums feature a stellar crew of both Seattle based and LA based musicians including Fred Wesley, Skerik, Mike Clark & Paul Jackson of The Headhunters, Alex Veley, Steve Black, Dan Gould, Nick Allison and others, including a few modest contributions from your very own Snakerhythms !
They'll be back on next week (5/15) if you happened to miss it last night.
